ellyblatz asked: What are your favorite stores for nailpolish/tools?
I shop regularly at Ulta, Sally Beauty Supply, CVS, and Rite Aid. I get my acrylic paints for all of the nail art I do at Michael’s Craft Store. My nail art brush is from Sally Beauty Supply.
little-miss-emilie asked: Hi! I wanted to say that I absolutely love your nail art and the little details that you put into it. I was wondering how long it would take to do on average a picture so complicated on one nail... Thanks -Emilie
Thanks so much! More complicated images can take some time, especially portraits. I think the longest I have spent on a nail design is probably 3 to 4 hours. Normally I can do a mani with nail art in about an hour and a half.
Beets in a bento box! Does that make it a ‘beet box’?! Read more and find out where I got this awesome Dr Seuss bento box on my blog.
It’s Ernie’s birthday! Happy birthday, Ernie!
OHMIGOSH! It’s MY birthday too! I couldn’t share it with a nicer guy. Happy bday Ernie!
Broke my index fingernail and I really didn’t want to file all of my nails down to nubbins. So I added a ‘band-aid’ in hopes that it will grow back quickly. :D Read more on my blog.
Two of the polishes recently restocked in my etsy store. Tiny Tangerines, inspired by the lovely Sonoma County blogger Kelly Anne of tinytangerines.com, and The Puck Stops Here, inspired by Snoopy’s Home Ice, a really cool (pun intended) ice rink in Santa Rosa, CA. Get them now in my etsy store!
Game Day Bento! Read more about this cool bento box and the football-themed lunch on my blog.
My bento is quite shocking today, in honor of National Static Electricity Day. Marinated chicken thighs over arugula with pomegranate arils, blackberries, broccoli, carrots, cucumber, and ELECTRIFYING couscous. Read more on my blog.
National Static Electricity Day is today, January 9th. You may know someone affected by static electricity. There is no known cure for static electricity. Read more on my blog.
I LOVED this book as a kid. Mom always read it to me with a lot of flair.
Do not turn the page.
We hear there is a MONSTER at the end of this book.
(And we probably do not want monsters on Tumblr now, do we?)
